Implement Traffic Management Plans - TMI Full /TMI Renewal 

This unit of competency addresses the skills and knowledge required to implement a traffic management

plan in civil construction and is appropriate for those working in operational roles.

 

Duration:

TMI Full program – This course is for people that have not completed the full program before, or people that cannot meet the TMI renewal requirements listed below. The program consists of a full day of face-to-face training with theoretical assessment throughout the day. At completion of the Theory training there will be a follow up practical component of workplace based logged training and completion of a third-party report from a direct Supervisor of these logged activities which must be completed within a three-month period of the initial Training day. The online working in Close Proximity to Traffic 1 & 2 programs which are TMR based must also be completed in the three-month period for successful completion of this training.

 

TMI Renewal program – a full day face to face training, prerequisites for attending the renewal component of this program from the 01st of October 2019 is to have completed the online working in Close Proximity to Traffic 1 & 2 programs which are TMR based. And be able to present a current TMI TMR certified card and TMI Currency of Industry Practice (COIP) form with Supporting evidence prior to attendance at the renewal training.

 

Course Cost: 

TMI Full course - $552.00 per participant.

TMI Renewal course - $552.00 per participant. 

 

Outcome: 

TMI Full Program - on successful completion of all training and assessment requirements, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment and Competency Completion Card for RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plans and a Statement of Attainment for RIIRIS301E Apply risk management processes (if applicable).

 

TMI Renewal Program – as a result of providing the evidence as outlined in the COIP and completing the renewal program, participants will receive a Certificate of Currency and Competency Completion Card for RIIWHS302E Implement traffic management plans and a Statement of Attainment for RIIRIS301E Apply risk management processes (if applicable).

 

Requirements:

  • All participants are required to provide photo identification (eg. driver's licence, firearms licence, passport)

  • All participant must hold a current Construction Industry White Card or equivalent

  • You must also bring your Unique Student Identifier (USI). We are unable to generate your certification without this. If you do not have a USI, please create one at https://www.usi.gov.au/students/create-your-usi

  • Current employment in civil construction industry is essential for access to work sites for the completion of the three workplace based Traffic Management Plans and completion of the supervisors report
